Christmas Program at Church Today

Here are a few videos from the Christmas Program at church today. Jackson's a bit hard to find the the non-sideways video at first. Look to the left he is behind and in between a girl with a white shirt and baby blue jumper and another girl with a black dress. He gives Derek a cute little wave during this video. He did a great job, it was so much fun to watch - he is growing up so fast!!! Merry Christmas everyone!

Jackson's 1st Christmas Program

This afternoon we had a great time at Jackson's school doing different art projects, eating cake, and then all the kids sang us a song to the tune of B-I-N-G-O! It was great! Here is a video of Jackson singing with his buddy Owen. Merry Christmas!

Griswold Family Outing

Today we went to a local tree farm to cut down our Christmas tree. It was a lot of fun - we went for a hay ride and even visited with Santa & Mrs. Claus! Hard to believe Christmas is only a few weeks away!

Let's go WILD!

Uncle Danny scored us some tickets to a pre-season Wild game a few weeks ago. Aunta Mir met us there and we had a blast! Jackson had lots of fun cheering on a Wild win and snacking on concession goodies. I think we have another hockey fan on our hands!

We're having a baby girl!

This morning we went in for our halfway ultrasound and found out we are having a baby girl! We let Jackson open a little box to find a pink ribbon = baby sister. He seems very excited, he will be a great big brother! Below is a 3D picture of babies face and a profile of her whole body!

Preschool

Tuesday was Jackson's first day of preschool. He was very excited about going to his school, his new Spiderman backpack, and new shoes. He had a lot of fun and didn't shed any tears when mommy dropped him off at school. (Notice HE didn't, mommy though - once in the car, she did!) Once he got his name tag on he was off exploring the classroom. Jackson also got to ride a bus/van home from preschool and thought that was pretty cool! It's hard for us to believe our little guy is old enough for preschool, and are very excited to see what he will learn and the adventures ahead.

Minnesota State Fair

Last Friday we ventured out to the state fair in the hot, hot sun. We went on a few rides and enjoyed some tasty treats with Papa, Nana, and Uncle Seth. Lots of fun!

Back to School Night

It's hard to believe, but in just over a week Jackson will be starting preschool! He will go for two afternoon's a week and a school bus will pick him up and drop him off right at Nikki's house. This last Thursday there was a Back to School Night and we got to go check out Jackson's classroom, locker, and meet some of his classmates. He is so excited to to start school - can't believe how quickly he is growing up!!

Hailey's Birthday Party

We went to Hailey's 3rd Birthday Party last weekend. It was a hot, hot day. We had a nice time playing outside and visiting. Daddy drew a nice portrait of Jackson on the sidewalk - can you see the resemblance?

By now we think the word has spread - but just in case we missed someone...we're pregnant! We are very excited to be welcoming Baby Urtel #2 next year. Sarah's due date is February 7th. So far things are going really well and we had a great listen to the heartbeat today! Jackson is very excited to be a big brother!
